Left Over Onions Are Poisonous

Onions are a magnet for bacteria, especially uncooked onions. You should never keep a portion of a sliced onion (even in a zip-lock bag) in your refrigerator.

Cucumbers

1.  Vitamins:

    Cucumbers are a good source of vitamins and carbohydrates that can provide that quick pick-me-up that can last for hours.

     Eat a few cucumber slices before going to bed and wake up refreshed and headache free. Cucumbers contain enough sugar, B vitamins and electrolytes to replenish essential nutrients the body lost, keeping everything in equilibrium, avoiding both a hangover and headache.

4.  Snacking Binge:
   Cucumbers have been used for centuries and often used by European trappers, traders and explores for quick meals to thwart off starvation.

5.  Home Spa:
    Cut up an entire cucumber and place it in a boiling pot of water. The chemicals and nutrients from the cucumber will react with the boiling water and be released in the steam, creating a soothing, relaxing aroma that has been shown the reduce stress.

6.   Bad Breath:
      Take a slice of cucumber and press it to the roof of your mouth with your tongue for 30 seconds to eliminate bad breath. The phytochemcials will kill the bacteria in your mouth.

7.   Grubs and Slugs in your Planting Beds:

Kiwi

Strawberry

Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits and protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals. 

Oranges

May help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent and dissolve kidney stones, and reduce the risk of colon cancer. 

Watermelon

Composed of  92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. A key source of lycopene, the cancer-fighting oxidant. Also found in watermelon: Vitamin C and Potassium.

Guava & Papaya

Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene, good for your eyes. 

A  sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The  pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots  greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the  eyes. 

A  Tomato has four chambers and is red. The  heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research show tomatoes  are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food. 

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound  heart and blood vitalizing food.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys. 

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak.  These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
